Catch up Time

I have downloaded about 500 pics off of my camera and I'm going to catch up...get ready for a lot of pictures
Snow Day 2010

Jakes Birthday at Monkey Joes

Easter 2010- We did an egg hunt at the church the day before Easter. Then we went down and stayed at my moms. The next morning the Easter Bunny came and one of the things he brought Jake was an Ironman toy that his Daddy loved (and picked out). One of the pics is of him being Ironman...he really gets into it, as you can tell. Then we went to my moms church, which we love and when we picked Jake up from Sundy school he said, "Jesus is alive!!" It's great to see him learning about Jesus and being excited. We then went over to cousin Marie's house and had a great time doing an egg hunt with all the cousins. Jake decided that it was more fun to sit down, open the eggs, and eat the candy than it was to hunt the eggs. Luke also enjoyed Easter...okay really he just liked playing in the fake grass that came in his Easter basket, but we were outside a lot and he loves that!

Got a rash?

Obviously Jake thought he did....on his head! We came into the room to find him playing in Luke's Diaper rash cream....he still smelled like it after 2 baths.... not my favorite smell.

Lovin' Lemons

Dan gave Luke a little taste of a lemon....I don't think he liked it, but we loved the face he made. Call us cruel, but this is funny.

ps-please excuse the crazy cackling and annoying baby talk in the background

New Camera

For Christmas all I asked for from everyone was money to go towards a new camera. Well I got it and I LOVE it. As fast as Jake moves, if I wanted a good picture I needed a better camera. So here are some pics from the new camera.

Lukes first time with a sippy cup..He did great!

Could not figure out how to rotate this, don't judge, I don't know computers very well....but I love this pic.

Dan's in Command

In December Dan had a change of command ceremony at his Army Reserve Unit in SC. He took over command for the 324th Alpha Company. I knew it was a pretty big deal, but during the ceremony when the presentation was being made, it hit me how proud of Dan I am. He is not even 30 years old and commanding a company of soldiers. He is doing so many things right now (i.e.- teaching, coaching, commander, masters, daddy, husband) and doing a great job at all of them.

Christmas

Okay, so I know its almost two months past Christmas but here are some pictures. We had a great Christmas. It was a lot of fun with Jake being a little older and knowing more of what was going on.
